I have situational depression. Some people in my life close to me know this.

So when I'm sad, unfortunately I'm really sad. 

This week I worked on a puzzle of Dracula and finished it

This might seem creepy but I really love graveyards. 

I've been going recently on Sundays with my friend Sarahjo 

and once upon a time when beautiful Olivia was visiting.

There is something that is so simple and peaceful about them.

Whenever I go on a trip with my family I ask if we can stop when I see a graveyard... 

of course they say no and think it's silly but they calm my nerves and rest my mind.

I felt like the deer there were A. protecting the graveyard or B. spirit animals. 

I think my spirit animal is a deer sometimes.

I was an Indian for Halloween, a boy asked me if I shaved my hair for the costume...

okay...

I'm into Halloween 

but I'm not obsessed.

twice in one day.

I used to be in love with this music video 5 years ago.
I thought the girl with the short hair was the cutest and I was willing to chop off my locks if it turned out like that... unfortunately some of us have hair that WONT look like that and it's sad. Today on my lunch break Hannah and Elyse joined me for some eatery and they both kept talking about their short locks and new ways to style it, needless to say I was jealous.

Anyway, if this is a bar... I don't think these kids have past the 9th grade.
...maybe by now.

Tea exploration.

 

I loveeeeeeeee tea. I work at a Tea Room here in downtown Salt Lake and I've decided to branch out from my usual teas and everyday I work try a new tea. It's going to be hard because I "know what I like" but then again, I could be wrong... like most things. We sell loose leaf teas and my typical favorites are the Beehive Cream and Honey, Vanilla, Raspberry Mint, and Very Berry. Don't get your hopes up, I'm not working today but tomorrow...
tomorrow I will try something new. 

 

 

 

I'm also really into coats with fur and circular glasses.

predictable? I never thought I would see the day I would love circular sunglasses again. 

In 7th grade my first "real" pair of sunglasses were circular because I thought they were cool. 

REALLY circular, small, and blue. 

I was shopping with my grandma and she wanted to buy me whatever pair I choose "to protect my eyeballs of course", 

(I have the sweetest grandma, she takes care of me). I realized that I couldnt wear them often because... 

they were really dorky.

But now, who cares.

Today I learned a tapping meditation, it's pretty cool. I love knowing that old dogs (me) can learn new tricks, that I do have the potential to think about things differently. I live in my head about 80% of the time.

Sometimes it's nice to not think about anything or to focus on one thing.

SIDE NOTE. Adrien Brody is the most attractive man I have laid eyes on. I know that's a pretty bold statement but to-each-his-own, right? My good friends and I watched The Brothers Bloom last night. 

I can't get over how I think he looks and acts (extremely classy, funny, and a bit reserved) the perfect combination.

I'm back in Salt Lake after a wonderful trip to Tucson AZ.
It was absolutely amazing to be at home, I'm learning that there is no better place
and finally...
after 24 years (yes, that's how old I am)
I'm becoming better acquainted with my family and sometimes (sometimes is only a slight hesitation) they can be the greatest.

I have some new goals that I'm going to try to attend to (I know, boring) but really. these are much needed life changes.
For example: everything. Halloween is in a week and a half and I am clueless on what to be, maybe a character from Clueless? ((I would rather die.) o man... I must be in a feisty mood this evening... it stems from traveling.) P.S. Traveling IS one of my many favorite things, it involves people watching and listening to music.

We have a show tomorrow night and if you'd like to come it's at Kilby Court in the evening.
